Funding status: Queensland Government subsidised training may be available for eligible students under the Career Start Program 2025–28. Non-concessional funded: $30 total. Traineeship pathway: $1.60 per nominal hour per unit.

The SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality is designed for people who want to start or grow a career in the hospitality industry. Students develop practical skills in customer service, hospitality operations, safe work practices, food and beverage service, coffee service, alcohol service and gaming service, depending on the course structure and selected training pathway.

This qualification can support employment in restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, catering operations and coffee shops.
